How to Enroll Your Child to a Class?

Childcare spots fill up fast, so we encourage parents to come in for a tour and ask any questions they may have regarding childcare and our facility. Once the parent has completed a tour we will take down the following information;

• Parent Full Name
• Child(ren) Name
• Child(ren) Date of Birth
• Phone Number/Cell Phone
• Schedule
• Expected start date

Each age grouping (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, School Age) have their own waiting list. Once a parent has decided that they would like to have their child start with us we would require a deposit of 100$. This amount is held to secure their spot for the requested date, once the child starts this amount is held in their account and will be credited to them on their last month of childcare. If a parent secures a spot and decided not to attend the centre they will lose the deposit, it is non-refundable. All staff and already existing parents are required to follow the same steps to guarantee a childcare spot.

If a parent would like to be put on a general waiting list, no deposit will be required, and the following procedure will be followed;

• Same information above will be taken.
• Once child had been placed on the waiting list we will inform the parent of the child’s position on the list.
• When space becomes available in our child care centre the supervisor will contact parents in order, as per dates that they were placed on the waiting list. Parents will be contacted by phone. If we are unable to speak with the parent a message will be left, or we will try back at a different time. We will document the date and the time the call was made and if a message was left or not.
• Once a parent has been called from the waiting list they will be given a specified a 48 hr time frame to return the call and express continued interest in the space available.
• If a parent decided that they do not want the spot they will be removed from the list and we will move on to the next person.

• If a parent decides to accept the childcare spot, at that time a deposit of $100 will be required. This amount is held to secure their spot. Once the child starts this amount is held in their account and will be credited to them on their last month of childcare. If a parent secures a spot and decided not to attend the centre they will lose the deposit, it is non-refundable.
• The supervisor will be the contact person for parents who wish to inquire about the status of their child’s place on the waiting list.

The waiting list will be maintained in a manner that protects the privacy and confidentiality of the children and families on the list and there for only the child’s position on the waiting list will be provided to parents. At no time will the names of other children/families and their placement on the waiting list be shared with other individuals.
